Cajun and Wily, formerly of the BS, Get a Home--Together

The tabby tux sisters, Cajun and Wily, who have been here since I dug them out of a pile of junk metal at the back of the BS barn, in the middle of the night, got a home just now, together. They went to a Springfield family with two nice kids, one of whom, the little girl, is a big animal lover.

I was so happy they got such a nice home, and both of them together. I just can't say how happy this makes me.

Their mother, a brown tabby tux I trapped and got spayed, was the mother trying to care for the starvation kids, the kittens nearly starved to death I trapped last week at the BS. I had trapped the starvation kids mother already, too, who is a gray tabby on white, but she was young, and never went back to caring for her own kittens. So, the older brown tabby tux mother did, after I took her own kittens. She wasn't happy I took them, and I tried to retrap her, using her kittens as bait, hoping to let her nurse them longer, but she never went for it.

Both female cats are now spayed. The brown tabby tux, Cajun and Wily's mom, was a good mom, while the gray tabby on white young mother, wasn't so good.

I had to take the brown tabby tux mother cats' kittens because two siblings had been cut apart, by what, I still don't know. Her other three, including Aces, who got a home several weeks ago, would have suffered the same fate. Since the other kittens, despite starvation, are still alive, I lean towards a human cause of the silbings death and subsequent mutilation, since they lived in the barn and were far more visible to a human, but I have no proof.

  1. Oh! How wonderful they are together. I will replace their photos on the flyer and add the gray ones and the starvation siblings.
