Norovirus or Flu?

I called the BS colony yesterday to remind the older woman to give antibiotics I secured to the three sick cats. The cats have been sick for a long time. Deep URI's and so finally I got antibiotics myself and have been going out to give them to the cats and when I can't, I call to remind them. The problem out there has been the woman will give cats antibiotics one day and not the next. Or for two or three days, then give up. This only compounds the problem.

The husband answered and said his wife is sick, really sick with vomiting and diarrhea. He seemed angry about it.

I began to worry about her. Today I will take her Gatorade at least. But I wonder if she has the flu or Norovirus or food poisoning or what. They had gone to some Foreign Exchange student dessert dinner in Scio, he said. He said they ate the same desserts, but probably didn't eat the exact same desserts. But I also remember when I was out there a few days ago, that her son called to tell her he and his latest wife and her girl were all sick, with flu he thought.

I also heard Norovirus is around again, in some circles.

Anyhow, I've been feeling slightly funky, stomach roiling, some diarrhea, and an urge to spew, but not a strong urge. I ate dinner twice last week out at the BS, when picking up cats or giving antibiotics. Wonder if I'm going to get the blight of England, the norovirus. Half that country was vomiting and diarrheaing a few months back.

UPDATE: She's better today, she says, and she says her husband was so worried he looked in on her, just peeked his head into her bedroom, every 15 minutes.
