There is a snake pit of horror still operating in Oregon. They call it a hospital. I always called it The House of Horrors. I was locked up there a few times, forcibly given electro shock treatments and abused there by staff on multiple occasions. When this guy, who made the mistake of pleading not guilty by reason of insanity, claims, after he escaped the hospital, that living homeless was safer than living at OSH, I know exactly what he's talking about.
Click the post title to read the story. Oregonians concerned about civil rights violations: you don't need to travel abroad to protest or find rights violations. OSH is in Salem. I can give you directions, to the House of Horrors, if you are interested in bringing gross violators of civil rights to justice--they're your state legislators and state paid shrinks.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
