I didn't watch the yearly tedious Osama Bin Laden tape. I heard he blasted capitolism and suggested Americans convert to Islam. Boy, that's a really attractive deal to an American woman. Sure, fine, I want to wear a veil. I want to live cloistered away inside, only allowed out when a male relative accompanies me. Sure, I want to give up reading, writing, watching TV, singing to myself, dancing, even if it's under the stars alone, for the sake of Islam. Sure, I want to live under the threat of gang rape should a male relative commit a crime. Sure, I want to be drowned if I lift my veil momentarily or have acid thrown in my face.
Sure, Osama, that's just a great religion there you're promoting, so moral and all.
Men sure love distorting religion so they can control everything.
Why are so many men so afraid of women, I wonder, that they seek to control every aspect of their bodily existence.
Some folks handle capitolism and freedom very gracefully and morally. Sure, many become greedy and exploitive, corrupt and dishonest and like little blood sucking parasites to everyone else on the planet. Some people would do anything for money. And some people would do anything for religion. Like throw acid in the face of a woman. Or drown their daughter in their sheek Arab swimming pool.
I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.
