This is Queen Elizabeth, an older declawed Himilayan, abandoned blatantly by a woman, along with another adult female and four kittens, when she moved out of a trailer.
Janetta, a Cottage Grove woman I know, adopted her. Initially, Queen Elizabeth was anxious and unfriendly, probably fearful she would be mistreated or abandoned again. But now, she is incredibly happy and even sleeps on Janetta's pillow nights right beside her.
Janetta also found a fosterer for three of the four kittens same Heatherdale woman abandoned insider her trailer. The fourth kitten was a manx gone too far and had no nerve stimulation to his bowels or rear legs. He would drag them. It was quite sad to have him euthanized. He was an earnest little boy and wanted to live.
