But the cabins, yes, both private and publicly owned ones. The motel I got included breakfast, but if a person was staying for more than a day, I can see how if a cabin had a kitchen, it would be a cheaper option than a motel.Strayerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08124298302997708537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29172782.post-80808888665856000322015-04-09T15:47:27.508-07:002015-04-09T15:47:27.508-07:00I think camping still happens here in public carav...I think camping still happens here in public caravan parks. What has gone here is on site caravans, caravans you can cheaply rent at the parks. Instead we have cabins, much like yours but of course they are more expensive than the old caravan. They are usually our preferred option and you do save some money over a motel by being able to cook in them.

The clear tree felling would be a Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29172782.post-6622899466390774162015-04-09T04:56:00.281-07:002015-04-09T04:56:00.281-07:00Sounds like very big caravans....enjoyed your phot...Sounds like very big caravans....enjoyed your photos, was great to see the sea...Margaret Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074619859060647600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29172782.post-55421533551630944342015-04-09T01:35:30.252-07:002015-04-09T01:35:30.252-07:00Glamping, what a great new word! Yes they're supposed to replant (with Douglas Fir seedlings) but some of those hillsides are totally barren, and so steep and right by the road, inviting severe run off and slides, in my opinion. I"d never drive that road in extremely wet weather or after a spell of very wet weather.Strayerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08124298302997708537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29172782.post-20212521665114659792015-04-09T01:18:57.371-07:002015-04-09T01:18:57.371-07:00Glamour camping or glamping is increasingly becomi...Glamour camping or glamping is increasingly becoming the norm here too. Satelitte dishes, electricity, hot water. A far cry from the camping I remember.
Yay for getting two more cats dental issues fixed.
Loved the deer. The clear cut sites are a bit sad though. Do they get replanted? And with what?Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.com
