Heartland Does it Again!

Heartland found a home for another local stray boy, endangered because he slept on the patio of a guy who hates cats on the block.  I was so grateful they gave him a chance, even though he is older.  He also hung out in my yard and often spent the night in my garage.  Sometimes I didn't even know he was in the garage until he would cry to get out the next day.

They named him Orange Crush, but his new name is Pappy and he went home with another kitty he had become best friends with, in his time awaiting a home, at Animal Crackers.

Good luck to you, Pappy.  And thank you again Heartland.  Heartland has helped find homes for a string of males not only from this neighborhood, but the rabbit hoarders two boys and Checkers, a.k.a. Hoss, a stray tame boy fed over near Mega Foods.

Pappy, with his buddy, who was adopted with him.

  3. It's so nice that they could be adopted together. Two of our cats were ones that they wanted adopted together. It was important in the beginning, but after a year or so they became very independent.

    1. Many siblings are tightly bonded, especially teen brothers, if neutered, but later may drift apart.
