I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I love cats.

Alby, Formerly Crusty
Alby had surgery and his adoptors sent me a photo of him. He just had surgery yesterday, but he's looking pretty darn decent!
Lucky Alby! I mean, having someone who can take care of him... that's so hard to find these days.
I have Mort at the vet for his fixing today. I wonder if he will ever have a home, poor little guy. I think there are many potential homes out there if only people weren't so wrapped up in themselves.
Someone needs to develop a virus that spreads like the cold but has no symptoms except people develop some compassion.
Matilda is going to the vet today. My vet called me, said bring her in, and I was so happy! I don't know what is going on, but she had fluid in her ear again this a.m. So that is usually an infection.
I don't like cleaning cats ears, usually end up with them at the vet if they have severe ear cleaning needs, but won't even try on her, outside of cleaning the inside back area. I did clip most of the hair out of her ears, which is the big problem with her. Besides the hematoma, which she has had forever. But it makes it worse for her hairy ears, the swelling of it, nearly closing off much of her ear, so it traps moisture, and, you can't clean out earmite debris.
She went to a home for awhile, but it didn't last. The couple split and she was returned.
