I am a Cat Woman. My self-appointed mission in life is to save the feline world! To accomplish this mission, I get cats fixed. Perhaps my mission might be slightly delusional. This blog is a mishmash of wishful thinking, rants, experiences as I remember them and of course, cat stories and cat photos. I have a nonprofit now, to help keep the cats here cared for and to fix community cats. Happy Cat Club formed in 2015. Currently, we are on a mission to fix 10,000 cats.

Peko Now
Peko is one of the three Kelly Road kittnes, that also included Miato, now named Maxwell, and Rags, the Ragdoll. Peko was adopted by a young man, a university student, to surprise his fiancee on Valentine's Day. They send me updates on how she is doing. Today, I got some photos. They just love her.

She's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, she is so beautiful. They just love her. Anthony, the young man who adopted her, is a really wonderful person. I used to group most young people together, as rude and know it all and was sort of afraid of the student age, but he is polite, hard working, smart, caring, strong. He and other young people, who have adopted cats from me, have totally changed my stereotype of younger people. I suppose the ones I typically meet, are the young twenty somethings out there into drugs and crime, in households of same. Hard to get an overall picture that way, I suppose. Anyhow, nice young couple and they are treating Peko very very well.
ReplyDeletePeko really is beautiful...all three of those kittens were gorgeous....i love orange and white cats....they remind me of the cat you saved, Mickey, with their colouring....I wonder if there isn't some orange and white tom wandering around the hood, impregnating all the females...year after year....do you know how peko's sibs are doing?
ReplyDeletePeko has really landed on all four paws with her adopters. She has totally blossomed!
